LuzLab :: Gallery

The Critter Macrochip is a fun and versatile floor lamp that debuted at the Milan Internation Furniture Fair in 2007. It is inspired by the physical similarities shared amoung insects and microchips. The Critter's twelve legs telescope and articulate, allowing for expressive poses. Posing the Critter facing up provides diffuse ambient light, while posing it facing down creates a local pool of light. The simple knobs adjust the color of thirty-six high-brightness, full-color LEDs that emit more light than a 100W incandescent light bulb.
